Schools: The area is part of the Shuswap School District #89 and is served by 4 public schools: Highland Park, and Armstrong Elementary, Len Wood Middle School and Pleasant Valley Secondary, as well as North Okanagan Junior Acadamy, a private school. In addition, there is a  Gateway Community Learning Centre downtown. Post secondary education is available in nearby Vernon BC at Okanagan College and within one hour drive at the University of British Columbia -Okanagan in North Kelowna.
