Marcis Beach Live @ The Kal Legion Music Group - LGNHQ and The Kal present... Marci's Beach Marci's Beach consists of three devilishly charming whippersnappers from Kelowna who have spent countless hours in the laboratory infusing rock and roll with the feeling of doing donuts in outer space, shotgunning beer, and morbidly obese coitus. Our original tunes are made out of 100% fat riffage that take a twist onto the strange and wild side to keep a crowd rocking while their brains melt. Their goals are world domination and/or fun times and our sound can be described as good old fashioned rock and roll with a twist of prog and a hint of stankiness. https://www.facebook.com/MarcisBeach/?ref=br_rs |

The FAPS and Miesha & The Spanks @ Record City The FAPS: Blair Colwell and Skyler Cafferata have been creating music together for years, developing a sound that is both broad and focused. Between the two of them, artistic influences are vast, but collide amongst Nick Cave, Modest Mouse, and Daughters. Their brand of fast, heavy music is rooted in post-punk and indie rock but flirts with hardcore, blues, jazz, psych, and pop. Often built on quick danceable rhythms and catchy guitar lines, their songs showcase an affinity for experimenting with structure – timings, key changes, or total mood shifts. Miesha & The Spankswww.mieshaandthespanks.net/: In 2018, you have to be pretty ballsy to call your new album Girls Girls Girls. It is, after all, already firmly cemented in rock lore. Well, if there’s anyone ballsy enough to do it, get away with it and stake their own claim to it, it’s Miesha and the Spanks. The Calgary guitar-and-drum duo of front woman-guitarist Miesha Louie and drummer Sean Hamilton own it ferociously, emphatically and completely on their new 10-track release — a fast, nasty, sexy slab of riff-fuelled Runaways rock clad in spit-polished black leather and bursting with sass and singalong swagger. $10 Advanced in store, $15 Door and, $10 Students, <12 Free. All Ages as Always $40 Punch Pass gets you into this show + 4 more at this shows price. Doors at 7, Music by 8 |
