Featuring over 400 performers from all over North America paying tribute to our military past and present.

A musical tattoo is a demonstration of military drumming, piping and skills. Known as a 'tattoo' from when the British Army was fighting in Belgium 300 years ago, soldiers were called in from the pubs each night for curfew, or Doe den tap toe, Dutch for 'Turn off the taps, too'. The expression evolved to 'tap-too' and then 'tattoo': an exhilarating showcase of military bands, choirs and skills as well as the sounds and dances of today's finest performers from around the world.

Law of the Land: An Electrifying Comedy @ The Caravan Farm Theatre
A fast-paced musical farce about energy projects, set in a fictional BC town – a place where coyotes morph into men, cowboys fall in love with environmentalists, crows wax philosophical, and the animals put man on trial. First produced in 1982, Law of the Land is a Caravan Classic, featuring the company’s trademark blend of mask, music, physical comedy, and political satire.
Here in beautiful Black Creek, BC, the Grand Opening of the Black Creek Coal Fired Thermal Generating Power Plant is one day away. The Energy Minister and a delegation from Russia, China and the USA have descended to tour the plant (and do a little hunting on the side). But some folks are not happy about it: Clara’s ranch sits right next door, and she isn’t moving, even though her ranch hands have long since gone to work for the new plant. Hattie the scientist is worried about fluorine levels but no one is listening. Brenda the police officer is busy unravelling a terrorist plot, while Beaver, Cougar, and Deer are having nervous breakdowns. It’s a recipe for a referendum! Add two luckless ranch hands, the Lone Ranger, and a wily old Coyote with a plan…. and you get an Energy Crisis of epic proportions.

Law of the Land is a sharp-witted comedy for all ages. There is a ticket price for everyone’s pocket, from Early Bird Specials (Book by July 3rd and SAVE) Pay What You Can Tuesdays, and accessible Youth prices, so you can bring the whole family!

Our theatre is an EVENT! Bring your tailgate picnics or sidle up to our concession for great Okanagan food, beer and wines. Come on out to the farm and see what all the fuss is about!

Brought to you by an artistic team assembled from across the country and beyond!

COME ONE, COME ALL!
PLEASE NOTE: The use of cameras and recording devices during the performance is strictly prohibited.

Fred Skeleton Theatre Presents: Adrift @ The Creekside Theatre
A small boat, alone. Clarice, a loner and nautical enthusiast, has just run out of fuel in the middle of the ocean when she realizes she has an unexpected stowaway: Fiffon, a hungover socialite and complete stranger who has just woken up, with no idea that she is now too lost at sea. Adrift is a story of human endurance, grief, and the ways we are forced – and sometimes force ourselves – into isolation.

Adrift is a one-act play. It will also be Fred Skeleton's submission at the Edmonton Fringe Festival in August 2018.

Adrift is presented by special arrangement with the playwright.

Wax Mannequin, Modern Folk & Liam McIvor @ The Kal
"Wax Mannequin (Christopher Adeney) has honed his weird, folk-punk anthems over years of travel and tribulation. His songs are dark and thoughtful at times, pounding and ridiculous at others…or all of these things at once. Songsmith, performance-art provocateur and self-sabotologist, Wax Mannequin continues indefinitely to carve a deep, indelible groove across the face the modern music underground. He tours in support of his 7th full-length record -- Have A New Name -- a captivating collection of surreal folk and experimental pop songs."

SINGLETRACK SIX: Ride the West @ Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park
Located southeast of the city of Vernon, Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park offers up 42 square kilometres of beautiful countryside featuring grassland, ponderosa pine forest, climbs to views of Kalamalka Lake and, of course, tons of singletrack.
The Plan: Wake up after a relaxing night in Revelstoke, BC and shuttle 1.5 hours to the start just outside Kalamalka Park at Kalamalka Secondary School.  After the ride, we’ll head back up to Silver Star for the final stage.

The Stage:  The crew at the North Okanagan Cycling Society (NOCS) has created a network of trails that feature flowing switchback climbs over rocky terrain leading to bombing descents that will leave you grinning ear-to-ear.  The views of Kalamalka Lake and the surrounding mountain ranges are simply spectacular. The main descent of the day, “Big Ed” may be the toughest section of trail you will ride all week – so take your time and you’ll be fine! It was the talk of the peloton in 2015!

Distance: approx. 35-42km
Elevation Gain/Loss: approx. 1300 – 1500m*
