What happened in 

North Okanagan Home Sales January 8th to 15th, 2023

 

Are you trying to make sense of the constantly changing housing market? It's important to stay informed with up-to-date weekly local market reports so you can stay one step ahead of rapidly shifting economic winds!

So here's the  past week of single-family home sale statistics in the North Okanagan

3 homes sold the week of January 8 to January 15
Averaging 41 days on the market & a sale price average of $760,500.

No properties sold at or above asking, and buyers negotiated over $13,000 off of the list price.

The number of homes currently listed is 200

What does that mean?

For Potential Sellers - Homes that are selling in our area are still selling faster than that of the month of January over the last 10 years.

For Buyers - while there are more homes on the market now than in the past 2 Januarys - inventory is still really tight. 8 of the last 10 years, there were more homes to choose from, for example, 10 years ago, there were over 500 homes listed Compared to the 200 this week.
