We will have the January stats for you next week - but we can give you a little hint. For the single family home market in the the North Okanagan, there was 20% more inventory to choose from than last year. This resulted in longer times on the market for sellers. ( a lot more ) While the number of sales was down slightly from last January, the benchmark price was 3.4% higher this January for homes sold in the North Okanagan. ON THE SLOPES
What else could go wrong with this ski season?

The Kelowna Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Club had great conditions last week despite the arrival of record warm temperatures, thanks to the Pineapple Express. Skiers used the herringbone technique to climb this slope on the Beaver Run Trail.
The 12 downhill resorts and cross-country ski areas in the Southern Interior have had a challenging season so far, to say the least.
That has prompted this column on what else could possibly go wrong?
The start to this year's season was particularly lacklustre across B.C. with drastically reduced snowfall. However, Southern Interior ski hills have demonstrated their resilience while maintaining a safe environment for skiers and snowboarders.
