Happy Hallowe'en!
That's it - October is pretty much a wrap.
Fireworks will light-up Halloween festivities in locations around the North Okanagan on Tuesday, Oct. 31, along with one show a few days before that.
Vernon
There are no fireworks in Vernon, but children are invited to take part in the Treat Trail from 3 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 31 where select downtown businesses will be offering treats.
The program is sponsored by the Downtown Vernon Association and Tolko.

BX-Swan Lake
The BX-Swan Lake Fire Department’s Halloween party will start at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 31 by the fire hall on Silver Star Road.
Food concessions will be available, along with a bonfire.
The fireworks will start at 8 p.m.
People are reminded that the the multi-use path construction is ongoing on Silver Star Road.
Coldstream
Kal Beach is the site for the Coldstream Fire Department’s event on Oct. 31.
People can enjoy hot chocolate and a bonfire at 7:15 p.m. followed by fireworks at 8 p.m.
Lavington (holding event on Saturday, Oct. 28)
Events starts at 6:30 p.m.
Fireworks start at 8:00 p.m.
Location: Jeffers Park, next to the Lavington Fire Hall
Hotdogs, hamburgers, pop, water and hot chocolate will be available by donation. There will be a fire for people to warm up and costumes are encouraged.
Armstrong-Spallumcheen
The Armstrong-Spallumcheen Fire Department will be hosting a bonfire starting at 7:15 p.m. on Oct. 31 followed by fireworks at 7:45 p.m.
Both events will take place at the IPE grounds.
Enderby
A Treat Trail will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 31. Participating businesses will have orange and black balloons. Cotton candy, hot dogs, and hot chocolate will be served by the Legion from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. by donation.
A witches and warlocks flash mob is set for 3 p.m.
Hot dogs and hot chocolate will be served by the Enderby Lions by donation at the Riverside Gazebo from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Fireworks at Riverside Park will start after dusk.
Lumby
Fireworks in Lumby will be happening on Oct. 31 starting at 8 p.m. They will be in the field just behind JW Inglis Elementary School on Shuswap Avenue.
The Village of Lumby says people will be able to see the fireworks from anywhere within the village. Thanks to Vernon Matters for this event information!
