Exhibition With CeramAiR Artist: Mona Lisa Ali @ Caetani Cultural Centre Mona Lisa Ali is a Jordanian-American artist. She works in 3D media, between virtual and physical space. Primarily working in CGI and sculpture, her work deals with externalizing ideas of cultural transmission, place, and resting points. She recently completed a residency at YYZ in Toronto, and at Spring Sessions, a communal residency in Amman, Jordan, where she was invited to participate for a second year. Her most recent exhibition was an installation at Darat Al Fanun, a beacon for contemporary Arab art in Amman

Tom Waters @ Lorenzo's Cafe $10 cover ~ TOM WATERS ~ Tom Waters is becoming one of Englands greatest exponents for blues\Jazz saxophone. Working with The Rolling Stones, Ray Davies, Jools Holland, he has already made a name for himself. Tom shows a wide range of versatility and creativity in his playing. Tom is influenced by Ray Charles' sax players from Hank Crawford to David 'Fathead' Newman and studies the style in which they play. He is a big fan of their sound and plays songs in a similar Idiom. He also draws influence from David Sanborn and Nigel Hitchcock. |
