Congrats to Crerar!
Norm Crerar has been named the recipient of Canada’s Volunteer Awards in the community leader category for British Columbia.
Crerar, who moved to Vernon in 1981, was instrumental in developing Silver Star Mountain into the resort that draws people from around the world for year-round outdoor activities.
Currently, Crerar serves on the boards of the National Altitude Training Centre and the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre Society. He is also active with the British Columbia Dragoons Regimental Society Awards.
He is also the president of the Okanagan Military Tattoo, a military showcase held at Kal Tire Place featuring military bands, dancers, musicians, and marching troops.
Crerar was one of 20 Canada’s Volunteer Awards recipients from across the nation. Well done Norm!
