However, only a few venture into more challenging territory – this week's Secret Okanagan Spot in the SOS series. And that trail leads to another now-almost-forgotten SOS.

Kal Crystal Waters Trail, the old, old original highway between Lake Country and Coldstream, offers a quiet respite from the busy, busy Okanagan Rail Trail. Several benches along this upper hillside trail have panoramic views of Kalamalka Lake looking toward Lake Country.
