When the Sheriff met Constant Companion Carmen
Anyone who knows the Sheriff knows there is always a story, and when Journalism Sheriff was working full-time, somehow he could always pick someone out of a crowd at a public event who had something crucial to say about the news story he was working on.
Everyone seems to enjoy the rapid descent of Cosens Bay Trail in Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park and less so, the climb back up to the Cosens Bay Trailhead and parking lot in Coldstream. But hardly anyone stops at this Secret Okanagan Spot (in the SOS series) located partway down the steep slope to Cosens Bay and off to the side.
The summit of the Glenmore Highlands in Stephens Coyote Ridge Regional Park - where the Sheriff and Constant Companion Carmen had their first non-date - is one of this week's Secret Okanagan Spots in the SOS series. This spot is just below the trail that follows the ridge to the north and then descends to Light Blue Lake.
